A great video. Thank you for sharing. My late father came from Ynyshir.

The Rhondda is steeped in heritage and provides the perfect place to explore the roots of the industrial revolution.
But its not just about the industrial revolution, we have a rich and varied history that encompasses the Romans, Normans and Chartists to name a few.

I remember wandering in a melancholic city listening to happy hardcore music... It was around Ystrad and Cynon, great places.

PS....Sorry Garydobbs it's a good video, and I nicked a few ideas myself
thats all well and good from your computer chair in england, dont forget that rhondda only looks the way it does because of its industrial past. merthyr and the rhondda valley provided all the coal and steel neccessary for the industrial revolution, so infact you could say that modern civilisation sprang from this area and spread worldwide. What your looking at my uninformed ignorant english friend is the heart of the modern world , still beating, only just mind you, but beating nonetheless.
