A short sermon film I did for the Frequency college group at Open Door using footage from the Matrix set to the song Free Fallin by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. This is a spiritual message about haveing faith and takeing falls when things are hard.

  • hahah, this always makes me laugh!

  • Yeah whenever I'm bored and feeling down, I just watch Neo slam against the ground and say "At least I wasn't stupid enough to try and jump across buildings."

  • That comment is a perfect example of how ignorant people are. The leap of faith is a metaphore. If you believe then nothing can be impossible for you. That doesn't mean you can jump off buildings and not get injured.

  • All you need is faith, don't count me in.

Religions are a way to control and dictate your life by the use of fear they enslave you, and no one is more hopelessly enslaved than those (you) who believe to be free.

  • @tannersanta How can I have a burden of proof when I'm not trying to prove anything? Fool.

  • @EmmanuelGoldsteinWeb The burden of proof still lies on you, no matter what you say or what you call me. You win the argument when you prove god exist...

And childish??? sure!! just remember, I'm not the one who believes in an all seeing all powerful invisible being living in the sky.... lol

  • @tannersanta I never claimed to have proof that God exists. Don't put words into my mouth. I also never told anyone what to believe. And I quote: " You don't have to believe in God if you don't want to. You're just better off with God than without. You will find out sooner or later." Your childish attempts to "win" this "argument" are betraying the fact that you are a fool.

  • @EmmanuelGoldsteinWeb

You explained nothing to me because you STILL CANT PROVE that god exist.

And I'm the one resisting reality? if your idea of reality is based on the fairy tale of god, then yeah I am resisting your "reality"

Or perhaps my concept of god is one completely different than yours.... but you don't know that, either way, who are you to tell others what to believe if you cannot prove what you believe (god) is real?

The burden of proof lies on all believers of god.

  • @tannersanta I already explained it to you. You are resisting because you are scared of reality. You don't have to believe in God if you don't want to. You're just better off with God than without. You will find out sooner or later.

  • @EmmanuelGoldsteinWeb I'm hilarious?

Honestly. Ask Yourself this, Is god willing to prevent evil, but not able?

Is he able, but not willing? Is he both able and willing?

Is he neither able nor willing? if so then why call him God?

U don't get it do u? I'm not arguing the ethics of god but the existence of god.

U will never prove to me that god exist, so why should I believe you? I don't fear hell because me fearing hell would be admitting that god exist with out proof if such hilarious thing.

  • @tannersanta You are hilarious. You're confusing the whole matter. There couldn't be Good without Evil ;-) God makes sure good always wins... even if he has to raise good from the dead!

  • @EmmanuelGoldsteinWeb

That is a huge contradiction... In the words of Epicurus Is god willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.

Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.

Is he both able and willing? Then why allow evil?

    OR

Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

    Why have a god?

  • @tannersanta Ecclesiastes 12:13-14: "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."

Believe me, I understand churches can be corrupt. This doesn't change the fact that the LORD is everywhere and in all things.
