Military tower 577

The East Greenbush Amateur Radio Association got together on 6-14-09 to test the installation of its Military tower 577 for field day. By testing out the installation, not only will things run more smooth and efficient on field day, but it gives the club members a chance to get together to enjoy this great hobby.

thanks for sharing. I went to my first field day this past June, and I got to get my hands dirty tearing down one of these. Newer operator recently liocensed, but loving the experiences. Worked my first contacts on 15m during field day (also 2m). So that I am happy to say my first CQ was at this years' field day!

Amazing! My first Field Day event, 17 years ago, a club member pulled in, and unloaded one of these on us. After about an hour of trying to figure it out, he handed us the assembly manual, and it went up like a charm. A fantastic piece of equipment. could you tell something about the music you used in this video? It's sound interesting and unusual, not like the "normal" (bad and boring) homemade music wich is often used in videos like this.
