oukurt well stated. i also agree about the comments about how you had to attend ou to be a fan. i guess if that applies you have to serve in the military to be an american.
some of us werent fortunate enough to have a silver spoon put in our mouth so in my case instead of attending ou i joined the military.
whether you attended the university or not is meaningless.

Those Sooner fans bashing Stoops need to remember the 10 years before Stoops. You fair weather fans make me sick. OU was only one of the winningest programs of the 2000s. How many 7-8 Big 12 titles? Appearances in 4 MNC games. 2000 National Champs. So keep bashing Stoops band wagon bitches. When OU wins another title you will climb back on board like you were there all along. It's embarrassing to read some of these idiotic comments and think they are coming from Sooner fans. Obviously you never went to OU or any other college based on your writing skills and skewed logic. Stoops is a man, not a god. He has his weaknesses, but how many other programs have enjoyed the same prosperity as we have had year in and year out? Hey, let's fire him and hire another Howard Schnellenberger...yeah, those were proud years for us. If you're a true fan, you support OU win or lose!

what fletcher states about ou 47 game win streak and tradition is what it is all about. alot of fans from other programs will try to run ou down but the fact remains ou unlike alabama and usc doesnt claim bogus titles decades after the fact. ou allows the numbers to speak for themselves.
ive followed the game since 1973 religiously and ou has provided many a thrill. ou tradition is definitely top 5 all time and compares with anyone. the historical documented facts state that.
