  • Dennis, most of us in the reality based community only knew that the Dems are controlled just like the republicans. We have to vote for individuals and not parties.

  • You've got it Dennis. Please start the effort to get an amendment to the Constitution to end the corporate control of our nation.

  • Thank you so much Dennis Kucinich. It seems that you and Ron Paul are the only representatives we can rely on to consistently do the right thing.

I would be proud to have this man as President, even with his beliefs on the welfare state. Even so, he's perhaps the only one with enough integrity to get such a system right...

He's a true blue American and it shines.

    Thank you again Dennis Kucinich.

  • .

I believe that the rationalization of what is a good or right thing to do is what has gotten to us where we are now. This is why you have to stand on principle.

I agree however that social programs can not be cut over night. We need an exit strategy so that there is no turmoil. It took decades to get us into this mess and we can't get out over night.

  • Well, it's just a philisophical difference of position. Kucunich is a constitutionalist in his own right. I agree that socialism isn't constitutional, but I don't believe Dennis Kucinich is in favor of the radical form of social programs. Even Ron Paul wouldn't cut social spending right out, as it would hurt the poor.

Generally, if you're going to be spending all that money (I don't think we should in the first place... but even if) why not spend it on positive things that actually help the US?

  • I agree with Rep Kucinich on his points as they relate to unconstitutional war but I am troubled that he invokes the "constitution" in the same paragraph with unconstitutional socialist programs. You can't have it both ways or be split on your principles if we are to take you seriously Mr Kucinich.

  • Dennis I am behind you 100%, thank you for standing for what is right!

  • You are great man Dennis!!!

  • Let them eat cake!

Don't confuse Big Health with Big Health Insurance. If Dennis was willing to back Insurance interests he'd be 100% behind the current legislative revisions. As Dennis himself points out, the current Bills are nothing more than huge market captures by and for existing Insurance firms.

What I don't see is this Big Health cartel. Pharma, yes. But actual care provision beyond prescribe a pill...

    n/m

In all likelihood it is Big Pharma that is Dennis' skeleton in the closet.
