Only Bruce could write a song which uses an everyday situation and then links it to a metaphor connecting the bigger picture of the USA's long journey ahead from what it had become under Bush to getting back to the decent values and traditions which make it such an endearing country in the world.
All done as usual with fantastic power and glorious music...He has been the greatest performer and songwriter of my lifetime.

@bladesonly Recovering from 8 years of Bush, Cheney et. al. immoral wars we have been fighting for over a decade (only 6 years when this was recorded) and the economic crisis that have resulted is my best guess.
