how much would it cost at bare minimum for all the supplies and some glass? Is there a big difference in quality bongmaking from the torches that are $40 and $500?

How much would this cost as a hobby? I probably won't have the money or time, but glass blowing is one of those things I'd love to get into :) (And, hey, who wouldn't want to make their own bongs? ;) )

@MrMalevolent : Everyday Practice makes it perfect :) It is not as precise as automated machine, and never will, but I am glad it looks like it.

@Burritoast : we are using pyrex tubes - wall thickness from 2.8mm to 4.2mm
