@OrangeCookie1542 Epsom Salt Contains Iodine. So That Probably Wouldnt Be The Best Choice.

your so pretty. &I love your nose ring :)

@christinaaXD if you were to use regular salt it would burn and torture the hell out of your piercing...thats why its recommended that you dont use things like alcohol and peroxcide because they are extremely harsh to your piercing and could cause damage to it

what if you use regular salt ??

@NOuNaLii The only way to properly get a nose piercing done is with a needle. Technically all piercings should be done with a needle. Piercing guns can't be sterilized and can transfer pathogens from one person to the next.

@59123Ameer I got my piercing done very recently, a few days ago in fact. My piercer told me if you develop a "piercing bump", to dab a bit of tea tree oil on the area of the bump. Just don't get it into the actual piercing itself.

@ManLykStryda99 Yes you are. Mine has been pierced for 4 weeks and I do everything normally... I even touch it a lot (I'm not supposed to) and it didn't get infected. :D

Are you allowed to shower your face with a nose piercing thats not healed yet?

I just got my nose pierced should I start the after care like right away
Is it ok if I just use sea salt on my nose? Like without the soap? Cause I got my nose pierced last Thursday and I only use the Magic Sea Salt Spray. Is that fine??

@SceneyyFoLife yeah, I'm pretty sure just doing the sea salt soaks are fine. My cousin just got her nose pierced and her piercer said that all she needed to do was use sea salt =)

I got my nose done 5 hours ago...
It didn't hurt as bad as I thought but I bled for 5-10 minutes. I spent $30 to get mine done...but my brother told me a place to get it done for $10. Craziness...
Anyways...this really helped. And also: could you use epsom salt? That is used specifically to heal infections...or to put in a bath and it's very soothing...lol...but I was jw..

@OrangeCookie1542 wow you got yours for really cheap! Lol, I haven't tried epsom salt but my piercer specifically told me to use sea salt and nothing else. =)

Do you think that I can leave it out for 8 hours if I had it in for 3 months?
kaemariealextin 1 year ago
@kaemariealextin that was what i was most scared of too, lol but it really depends on fast it may close. i believe it closes from the inside out. so it may be hard for you to put it back in. im not 100% sure if it'll still be completely open after 8 hours, esp if you only had it for 3 months. but you can always try, im just not sure how the outcome will turn out, sorry.
