About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
@jimmywilkes There will still be a need for utility poles. The lights on the road must be placed over it because you have to see a meter (a few feet) from the edge of the road!

how many lives would be saved if this product removes the need for utility poles. ;) one less road hazard.

What an exciting concept. I really hope this takes off. Do you think this will help reduce our dependence on foreign oil with all the energy it can create? I would love to get your opinion on this subject posted on DeathofaGasGuzzler . com. Thanks so much.
