6DOF means that it supports 3D movement and pitch, yaw & roll. (XYZ translation and XYZ rotation)
TrackIR uses infrared range as the name implies. It works either by tracking three reflective dots which it illuminates with IR light or by tracking three IR LEDs.

In this case its a Track IR type device (or Freetrack which is based on a webcam tracking your head and face i believe)
