  • @BodyPerformanceTV I eat 1500 calories per day and burn 400 per day at the gym. I avoid processed & fatty foods. My lunch is a salad of vegtables and I am not losing weight

  • @jvarela965 I answered your question on my 5/29/11 BlogTalkRadio com show. You can listen there or on iTunes. Search Steve Turano. • i think alot of the criticism from people on hear is mainly because of this:

as Steve says calories in vs calories out is how you lose or gain weight regardless of the source of the calories, HOWEVER body composition is determined largely by the types of foods you eat so someone who eats 2000 cals from chocolate will never be as lean or healthy as someone who has a good balanced meal plan equalling 2000 calories although they may weigh the same body fat percentage will be very different.

  • @nojhead Body composition is base much more on your activity and a lot less on what you eat!

  • I removed only 30% of my portions and its already working :)

  • @BodyPerformanceTV AHEM! I know exactly how many calories per day I am taking in. I write down everything I eat and the aeroibic machine tells you how many calories I am burning. Yesterday I took in 1557 calories and burned 409. And My weight is banging back and forth from 228 to 230 then back again. I don't lift weights much. I had a hernia as a child and when I do I gain pounds on the scale which is muscle but I do not lose any body fat because the scale says I am heavier.

  • this is so true. i've read book and mag about eating healthy and how you should cut this and that out of your meal. but i can never stick with it because of the dull taste. following your advice, i still get to eat what i like at a smaller portion and still loss weight. i hit the gym 6 times a day and do my resistance and cardio training for 1 to 2 hours each day. my body fat percentage has gone from 25% to now 14% in little over 7 week. thanks steve

  • @BodyPerformanceTV steve out of all ur videos, this would have to be one of the best advice to give to someone, when their on a diet.
