  • When you do the scallop edging what do you do in the corners, do you double crochet? I saw you did the 3 double crochets for the picot but what do you do for the scalloped? Please let me know. thanks Terri

P.S. I have learned alot from your videos!! they are the best!!

  • @superterri5 for the scallops you just continue following the pattern for the scallops no matter if it falls in the corner or not.

  • Hi, I'm very new to crocheting. I haven't made anything yet. I have view videos and I found your video. Your video is the BEST!! I finally understand between a SC, DC, and a HDC. Now, I want to give it a try to crochet my first baby blanket for my expecting baby (due in 9 weeks, I hope I can get the blanket done in time). Can you please tell me the weight of yarn (ply) to use (I hope you understand my question as I'm very new to this). Thank you!

  • @knitlc3

If you have Hobby Lobby in your area you should try the brand "I love this yarn." It is perfect for baby blankets,

If you have Jo Anns Fabric Stores you should try the brand "Pound of Love." I used this brand in the color antique white. Visit my channel to find lots more easy tutorials youtube.com/user/traceyishh?feature=mhsn

You should try the yummy cream puff blanket tutorial it's perfect for beginners.

  • did u crochet 3 times in the same space for each corner in each of your 8 rows?

    Thanks

    Viki

  • @TheVikaroo Yes ~ I always crochet 3 stitches in the same space for every corner no matter how many rows. It gives you a flawless rounded edge :-)
