-custom pickups:
-neck - Merlin P.A.F. AlNiCo2 (7,6KOhm)
-bridge - Merlin Sabotage ceramic (15,2KOhm)

@Theguitarbassman It looks like egg crate foam like they use to make mattress pads out of. A 2 inch mattress pad would cost maybe $30 on Amazon and should be enough for 2 or 3 cases.

What kind of foam did you use for the inside of that case? I have a Brownsville violin bass, basically a knockoff of McCartney's bass. I want to make a case for it cuz a hard case for a violin bass is either hard to find or expensive...

That looks fantastic, my only thought is it looks weird with the maple fret board because the stain was so dark. Maybe my personal choice but maybe a rosewood fret board woulda looked better.I only wish i had those kind of wood working skills!
