  • was an e60 hauling this train

  • I do not remember, but I read on the web that those locomotives were used on this run. On the trip down to Florida, when I got off in Orlando, there were a couple F40PH locos up front. Not sure where we picked them up. May have started out from NYC with E60s. I do not know.

  • Are you in a Viewliner Car?

  • I believe that it was an older sleeper.

  • Was that a locomotive & train tracks underneath Elizabeth station at 6:08?

  • Question Pkingman do you by any chance have a video of the Auto Train during the 1980s and early 90s?

  • Do they still have any slumbercoaches around?

  • Just to let you know Viewliners didn't make frequent apperances until 1995, but they were first used in 1988.

  • Slumbercoach....use to be $21.00 plus coach fare NY-Miami back in the late 70's
