Argentina's top diplomat has insisted that an Argentine judge would question Iranian suspects in the deadly 1994 bombing of a Jewish charities building, despite an apparent Iranian refusal.
Foreign Minister Hector Timerman gave the assurance to a Senate committee on Wednesday, a day after Iran's foreign ministry said assertions that former Iranian officials would be questioned were "a sheer lie."
Al Jazeera's Teresa Bo reports from Buenos Aires.

What utter shame for the Argentinian government to pair with the perpetrators of the AMIA bombing to supposedly find the culprits of that heinous crime. Some weeks ago even President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner implicitly suggested that it might all have been an "inside job" by the Argentinian Jewish community. This is truly shocking.

The suspects, 5 Iranians and 1 Lebanese, have been called for questioning many years ago. What image does it give, that a suspect of such a hideous crime, is later designated Defense Minister?

The investigation will go no where because the Mossad agents who committed the bombing will never be found.

Where is the justice for the Palestinians, their stolen land, bombed schools and hospitals. Where are the kidnapped Palestinians ? Might this again be a typical case of Shelling of Mainila.
