Casey, this is just breathtaking! I would love to do a piano/marimba piece with you. I have a "semi-live" recording of a show I did in 2007 I can send; should be done with my second solo piano CD in the next month or so. Thanks, and again, just fucking stunning work, compositional AND chops!

I've wanted to write a marimba concerto but I had not idea how to keep a beautiful marimba tone and blend it with the ensemble and still retain my own style. Listening to this has given me so many ideas. Amazing work! Thank you!

This peice of music is lovely, what standard would you say the concerto is at a whole? Im in the lower sixth at chethams school of music in Manchester and looking for a big step up from repotouire ive currently finnished preparing for a recent assesment, this marimba concerto sounds like a possiblity i could add to my experience :) cheers,x
