Roughing the Passer Ch. 4 {Part 2}

"Mommy," Lana whispered; her voice waivered slightly. "And I guess you can say that's how it all happened. I grew attached to him, and he to me, so I adopted him. I was twenty, about to graduate college early. Blake needed someone, and he already believed I was his mom."

"That was brave, you know," Tim said, looking over at her when he was stopped at a red light, "to take him in like that, at such a young age. He must be a handful."

"Oh yes, of course he is," Lana said, turning to look back at Blake. The young boy was playing with one of Bronco's chew toys that happened to be on the seat next to him. "But he knows that if he's naughty he gets a spanky, even if he tries to pretend not to know what that is."

Blake's head rose when Alana said 'spanky', Tim noticed. And the boy tilted his little head to the side in fawned innocence. "Wow, he's a tricky little devil. I would have never thought he could be mischievous."

"Oh he can be," the brunette said with a laugh as they started moving along through the traffic. "You know, I thought you would have been more upset with the fact that I spank him and not that surprised by him being naughty."

"There's nothing wrong with spanking," Tim said, his mind traveling back to just a few weeks ago when he'd found himself over Robby's knee. "Nothing wrong with it at all."

"And that's spoken from someone who's been on the receiving end of many in his lifetime," Alana said knowingly, eyeing the famous athlete next to her. "You were spanked?"

Tim was a crap liar, so he consented to telling the truth. He had a gut feeling that he could trust Lana. "I still am."

Yeah, so...First and 10 and this story are getting like...no comments. It's kind of disheartening. I don't really know how to respond. I mean, I'm working really hard right now. I'm writing SIX different stories for here, and a couple more I plan on posting on a different site. I have two AP classes as just a junior this semester, Honors Spanish II and band. I have multiple concerts we're preparing for, on top of looking for a job, and I just feel like no one is reading my stories anymore :(

awesome ep love this series and first and ten even if i dont know a thing about football it more fun to read about football

Love all your stories. This one has soul and passion for football but still with the natural topic. The other story is awesome. About a girl who tries out for the football team and against all the odds makes the team and show us girls that whatever man can serve woman can dish it right back.
