On the 2nd. November 2007 SBS TV broadcast a film concerning "The Little Red Schoolbook".
The extracts here concentrate on historical material from the era when the face of censorship changed.
These historical extracts are mixed with some commentary by Phillip Adams and one of the authors of the book together with commentary by Wendy Bacon.
I understand a copy of the entire broadcast is available from Marcom Projects

Sexuality and censorship - how a Danish guide to sex and drug awareness corrupted Australian morality. The little Red School Book was the subject of considerable controversy in several English-speaking countries, notably the UK and Australia. Although not banned outright in Australia, it was the subject of heated discussion in the community at large and the government. It gave frank, accurate and sensible advice about drugs and sex.
I have this book. It's great. I wish I'd had it growing up. As soon as my children are old enough I'll let them read it.
