  • Watch carefully folks, the rest of America is going look like this very fast.

  • @Omnicronimous The country is being trashed on purpose. Trade agreements do nothing but ship jobs and technical know how overseas. They was put in place by big business. The very top big money people (elites) know exactly what they are doing(long term strategy of economic destruction). They know how to sell people reasons to put trade deals in place. They lie, lie, lie. Long term it has trashed the US economy and made people slaves in other nations. Its a designed destruction of the USA.

  • @Matthew0161 Because we have tons of pines and fir trees, brick is too expensive here.

  • @dlstb Thank you so much for that answer! I love it when I learn something from a YouTube commenter. :)

  • @Matthew0161 That is because you don't have an excess of lumber and a climate that permits you to build timber framed and sided homes that last. Where I live, the humidity is low, termites are easily deterred, and timber is the cheapest material for the job. It is also lighter and easier to transport than is stone. Oh, and we don't have 300+ year old houses.

  • Has anyone else added up the numbers and come to the realization that every American man, woman, and child has a debt of ~$45,000 on their head not including the money we owe the social security trust fund (entirely held in federal bonds, taxpayer IOU's) and the ongoing expenses of medicare, medicaid, and social security. The reason why our manufacturing has gone away is because gov't made it too expensive to hire labor. Get gov't out and watch the economy rebound. Better yet, FairTax and Paul

  • @YuppiePrepper We can't all be infotech people! We can just expect for our country of 300+ million to be employed with services and innovation. We need a manufacturing base.

  • This is s truly telling video of things to come for us all.

  • Manufacturing has never been the number one employer in the USA. because we have moved on to Information technologies rather than wood & steel manufacturing, so? This is a good thing! It frees the best & brightest to perform high end work, while letting other people perform low skilled manufacturing work.

An entire economy can't be held back by the lowest, most unskilled worker, it is up to THEM to bring up their game to join the new economy... which is not low-skilled manufacturing!

  • The banks have started to bulldoze foreclosed homes and bussinesses, there will br nothing left. The gov't. is selling land to the Chinese.

  • Hey Reg, have you ever considered running for local office? Maybe you can have some input on local politics and get more businesses in there.

  • Why are all these house made from wood? In England you will never see a house made from wood, even in the poorest areas.
