@shqiperiany I want to point out that figures/statistics that state Japanese follow buddhism or Shinto is basically now just tradition and is from birth records, but 70-80% of Japanese do not consider themselves to be religious, and 64% do not believe in a god. You can check this in google or wikipedia. I agree we all are the same inside, and I believe most people do want peace. The problem is when extremists gain power and drags everyone else into war, start cults, or oppress others.

@firespinguy You DO know Japenese people aren't atheist? They are either Budhists or Shinto which is the #1 religion in Japan. Atheist don't believe in God. Did you also know Bill Gates is a thief(He stole Apple's idea which became Windows Graphic Interface) i could name more. I hope you know we are all the same on the inside, religious or not religious. I am muslim(from Albania ) and i do care about peace. I DON'T want war. If i had won lottery of $100 million, i would donate to charity.

@shqiperiany continued from last post- basically situations that cause wars. A good example is Japan (number of athiests grew significantly afher WW2) as the number of athiests grew Japan became more successful and peaceful. Beforehand many Japanese believed in their native religions. Did you know majority of scientists are athiests? Same for major successful people like Bill Gates. Religious people may not like the fact, but entire nations depend on the small amount of athiests for innovation.

@shqiperiany No, athiests would not have as many wars as religious or the typical politcian. What would we fight for? We don't believe in a correct "god", sinners, or infidels. Athiests wouldn't care what religious people do if so many didn't try to force their beliefs on others. The average athiest view religious people beliefs as childlike, and studies show religious people have lower IQs anyway. The only time religious people are a threat is in politics, government, or a mob-like setting.

@shqiperiany I don't think science is a belief, I said no wars ever was started because of a belief in science, unlike religion or politic. Science help discover facts. Obvious some people are going to want to abuse science, but that doesn't take away the fact science don't far more good for humans than religion. If anything there are less wars and murders now today than in the past.

LOOK IT UP. its funny how you think if we get rid of these politicnas there wil be less wars.. wrong.. it's only that atheists are a minority, believe me, if u were a majority you would create ur own nation and get rid of Islam and Christianity and other faiths. you can be ruthless too, you just don't have power yetttttt.

@firespinguy It's the way of life. it has been like these for thousands of years... you can blame science for creating these dangerous weapons.. all science needed to do was make techonology to better the world ( computers, cellphone etc) but nooooo they had to make weapons to take another humans life. HAHA it's funny how you think science is a belief.. science only made it easier to kill people. get rid of weapons and we'll having a good life... swords and cannons like the good old days..

@shqiperiany Religion and politics has caused more wars than any other reason on the planet. Iran threaten Isreal due to religion and politics, and same for rebels in Africa, Terrorism, Korea war. Yes science can be abused, but I have never heard of a war starting because of a belief in science. Science is not the problem. Most wars are started by political and religious zealots. Get rid of those guys, and there would be very few wars.

Take a GOOD look at what's happening and has happened around the world because our advanced techonology. rebels in Africa (uganda) Iraq war, war against terrorism, vietnam war, korean war, ww1, ww1, cold war, Iran threaten to wipe off israel with their newly advanced technology "atomic bomb" hiroshima, nagasaki ? remember this ? Just like religion, Science does too have bad and good side.
