Same old crash with an ATI Mobility x300.
Pisses me off. Took me hours to build a little mine with signs and everything and I can't take a decent walk through it.

The same problem is happening for me. I have un-installed, re-installed, and updated my AMD drivers and my java is up to date. It seems to work fine if I play in-browser though.

Similar issue here - Minecraft runs fine for anywhere between 30s and 1 min after loading a world and then crashes, sometimes to the 'driver has stopped working and recovered' and sometimes to BSOD.

Doesn't crash when I run it on the Intel HD3000 graphics, though it's quite choppy.

I'm having this problem as well. Minecraft will play fine for a while, then will go nuts and display a dirt background which goes black when I try to do something.
