@xGuttix: Your comment to: " Try not to understand it through western eyes" was offensive to me. Just because someone is from a certain area doesn't mean they can't appreciate it any more than someone from a different area. It's bias like this that, (sadly), divides the world.

As I said in your video of Lalit, the meends are not right. Remembre that is of the essence. If they're not correct, the whole raga ceases to exist.
Practice more on your fingering, and way more on your meends. Of course you can make it!

i see in a lot of her videos she starts a sentence while shes playing and just leaves off and keeps playing.
that's how u kno she really gets into it, when playing the instrument becomes more important than talking.

all indian classical music is in C, sometimes C sharp. changes in key arnt important for playing a raag. But trust me they are in different scales
