The video recommends that standard modular floating nuclear power plants be volume produced in shipyards. The plants would then be moved by heavy lift ship or tug to a standard generating site accessible from a navigable waterway. The plants would be designed to operate in the floating condition.

It might be more than 40 years before a method for the deep geologic disposal of high- level radioactive wastes is ready. In the interim, these wastes could be stored on remote and uninhabited islands until a final disposal site is ready to accept them.

Low-level radioactive wastes could be stored on the same islands until these wastes decay to background levels.
