@britstar2871 Yes we call "music videos" or promos by the frenchglish word "clip". In french cinema theory, the word "clip" has the meaning of what american editors would call a "montage sequence" (in french we use the word "montage" to say editing). The official term for clip is videomusique but it is not used by "common people". The word clip is also used to qualify a 1 minute long political official spot. The expression is "clip de campagne" (political campaign spot ). Was it clear ?
