This the brilliance that was the late Jerry Orbach as Chuck Baxter, a role he originated in the original 1968 production of "Promises, Promises." The show had songs by the popular songwriting team Burt Bacharach (Music) and Hal David (Lyrics), coreography by Michael Bennet, and Jill O'Hara as Fran Kubelik.
At the 1969 Tony Awards the musical was nominated for Best Musical and Orbach won for Best Actor, which isn't hard to imagine watching this fantastic performance.
