How to Have three weapons in Halo 3(How to Tri-wield)

I'll explain exactly what to do here:

Start an Oddball game easiest on High Ground.Grab the Oddball go to where the 2 SMGs spawn pick up an SMG keep it as your primary weapon(if u were to drop the ball u'd pull out the SMG first).

Now drop the Oddball on top of the other SMG laying there.Then Hold LB and RB(the 2 buttons above the trigger buttons)and u should pick up the Oddball.

Drop the Oddball and start switching your weapons.You should now have SMG,SMG,and whatever other weapon u had.

FAQ:

Q:Do I have to be the host to Tri-wield?

A:Yes you do.

Q:Can I have any weapon other than an SMG on me?

A:No,you have to have a weapon like assault rifle or battle rifle or some non dual wieldable weapon.

Q:Can you do this with something other than an Oddball?

A:Yes,you can do it with a flag or a bomb or any objective type object.

Q:Can i switch my weapons?

A:No,you will automatcially drop(or invisibly)lose the other SMG,but you can dual weild with another SMG or any other dual wieldable weapons.

Yeah and for it to be useful in matchmaking situations was not the point.

It's just like any other glitch.The only thing that sets it apart is it can be done over xbox live.

But it could be useful if you want to have more dual-wielding possibilities.

its true i tried it and you have to have a smg or some dual wuild weopen and drop the oddball on a smg and yourself have a smg the press rb lb at the same time then you get to hold three weopons but you have to have a primary weopon.
