The trick to a slow hipkey is to keep your body horizontal and lift your butt up to the silks. If your body is horizontal enough, gravity doesn't pull the silks off your legs.

I have the same problem! it's always sloppy or it doesn't work when i try to do it that slow

wow. thats like a drop that we call salto. its does the same thing but its wrapped differently! its so cool to see the different drops people do! :D
