@pyromancj1 This is old but the estimate for a chemical tech., usually associates on the way to chemical engineer, can make around 40k a year. It is possible for a chemical engineer with the right company and place can make 60k with a bachelors right out of college. Not everyone will but it is possible.

@griffithsqwerty I have just completed my first degree in Chemical Engineering and Energy from Birmingham Uni. First year is pretty easy, 2nd year a bit harder and 3rd year is HARD. Chem Eng apparently is the hardest of all engineering degrees. It requires lots of work and is stressful but it's not impossible. If you've decided to do it, then just apply yourself to it and you'll make it till the end, with good enough grades. Best of luck! :)

Where the hell did you hear that. Engineers, especially chemical engineers, can make up to 60k + out of college.
