In Bangkok, Thailand, Host, Brooklyn Monk, Antonio Graceffo catches up with 53 year-old Craig Wilson, who fights under the name of Farang Ba (crazy foreigner). Craig is officially recognized as the oldest amateur boxer in Thailand and possibly the oldest amateur boxer in Asia. In spite of being a cancer survivor, who most wear a bag, he fights nearly every month and has had at least 60 official fights in Thailand, plus 20 in the Philippines, as well as other fights across Asia.

Craigs story is extremely inspirational. Not only does he help others by showing them how one can overcome adversity, he also helps directly, by supporting children in an orphanage in Cambodia, where, in addition paying for their first-class education, he has installed a boxing program, to help them get fit and build self-confidence.

Next time you dont feel like going to the gym, think about Craig Wilson. Unless you are facing tougher odds, you have no excuse.

  • Wow this guy's really an inspiration, no kidding. Thanks for sharing this video with Craig Wilson, man. If it were'nt for this video, we may never know who this awesome guy is! TY!

  • so glad you liked it. Craig is a good friend too.

  • Hey antonio, still loving your vids! i got a question for you.since you been to many thai camps, could you recomend a few to the first time visitor to thailand? based on Quality of training, price, accomdation and over all fun/enjoyment from the experience.

  • so far i got the best training at chakrit but it is expensive, about $130 USD for 15 days. the other option is windy muay thai where serious guys train. it is less than half the cost of chakrit but you dont get as much personal attention and no music or ring timer so i have trouble planning my workout there. i am trying a lot of gyms for my show so maybe i will find the perfect one. both chakrit and windy are in my videos so you can check them out

  • any thoughts on fairtex? or the sidyothong(sp?) these are the schools I see advertised on or in TV/ magazines here in the west.

  • fairtex is great but a little expensive
