I get the people who are dissappointed that most of his stuff is written, but he's got to be prepared. Also, many of the funniest things he comes up wth are on the spot, things he can't plan for, like at the Star Wars premier when he made his comment to the pregnant woman or the guy eating the filet of fish. Most times you can tell when it's made up right on the spot because those are the ones that tend to make him chuckle.

I love seeing Smigel, His expressions make the jokes even funnier. That guy was the only reason SNL was worth watching for that short period where he did the video funhouse....

ohhh the star wars skit was one of the funniest ones i laughed my ass off in that one.
