He didn't play. Taye's Rock Pro uses "premium poplar," not hybrid basswood/birch--at least according to Taye. I wish that people and major merchant portal/familiar music mega-gear sites would get this right. The pricier Pro-X line features the hybrid wood.
Hey dude, you're right, but this video is a bit old.
Rock pro line had the birch basswood shell until 2010 when they changed it to poplar.
My rockpro's are made in 2008 and they are birch/basswood :)
