You need to do more than that. Buy Ferrets For Dummies and read it cover to cover. Find out if there's vets in your area that treat them - most don't. Make sure you have SEVERAL HOURS every day to let them out AND to change their litter and give them food and water. And make sure your family can afford them - they're VERY expensive animals to care for once they age and get sick.

@Laraxxmusicluverr22 There already is one. Just search "new cage ferretocious". Mine's the Quality Cages Ferret Mansion with the additional level. Costs about $350 or so. I actually got mine used but still like new from the shelter I volunteer with when she downsized.

@BritainAmour Sweetest cats EVER. And I hear this from lots of other owners/breeders that I've met at shows. Very adaptable, too. I adopted Penny when she was already four and she bonded to me instantly and also never hissed at my dog, cats or ferrets - friendly to all of them right from the start. I love all my pets but Penny's so special - definitely my favourite.
