yeah i know my arch sucked, but when you jump out of the plane for the first time at 13,000 feet you tend to forget some things... my mind went blank when i looked at the ground in the door of the plane after the prop check. then i was falling.
Log from instructor:
Good climb out remember full count on exit.
Remember circle of awareness before practice deploys.
Arching is your best friend which includes chin up, looking ahead.
good practice deploys.
flattened out and almost barrel rolled at pull time.
TRUST YOUR ARCH.
good pattern on landing and amazing use of s-turns.
good flare height and speed.
dont land on back, use PLF or stand up.
pass, onto Cat B

Awesome man, thanks. I feel better now. Well, I have a 2 hour drive ahead of me haha. Gotta beat that traffic.

@NSXGuy the best part was definitely after i pulled the chute. in ground school they not only teach you what to do but pound it and pound it into your head for hours. by the time its over you are begging to get out and try it on your own. so after you pull the chute you are finally on your own... thousands of feet above the ground... it was an extremely peaceful and powerful moment. and luckily i was well prepared so maneuvering and landing was very simple. pay attention and youll have fun!

does skydance film you on your affs or did you have to pay an additional charge?

additional charge i believe it was 100$ it was gifted to me by a friend though =]
