5 stars ***** for Kiri Te Kanawa, who sings "Auf Flügeln of Gesanges" (Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy), and also for the wonderful video full of freshness!
I am 61 years old, I sang (a capella) the "Lieder" where I spent my "Certificat d'Études Primaires" as the "Chant Patriotique" which was imposed, I have a great success, lol!

This is one of the few songs in Kiri's repertoire that I can safely say I'm capable of singing. The rest of them are...let's just say I've to wait many more years.
I can almost imagine the girl in the rainbow-coloured dress in this video as a young Kiri... :D
