The index finger is to be barred on the fret or just before the fret?

@MrDevcricket Your finger should be right up against it, but not on top of it.. If you're right on top of it, you'll get a muffled sound because some of your finger will be hanging past the fret and will dampen the string vibration.

I like your video, but the things I'm trying to do won't seem to work for me like keeping my finger straight and letting roll on the right side...it ends up curving, and then my wrist ends up bending iself. And the strings the third and last sound muffled its driving me nuts! Any idea how to fix that?
