  • Blah blah blah blah... another video of Tony telling someone why they are wrong... You couldn't just tell us why YOU like or dislike the new codex. OK you read a lot of forums and you know your stuff, but c'mon let the kid have his opinion without shitting on it, especially with such a condescending attitude. Don't get me wrong, I love the vids and tips, just get off the high horse.

  • yes holy crap another person who agrees with me on how tony just shits on everyones army

everyone who watches this is just like, dang my army seems worthless now

finnaly some one who sees through his videos!

  • Not being funny, but FINALLY the guard codex reflects the fluff of the Imperial guard, where as almost al the other races have lists that enable them to play just like they read about in the background storys.

Yes 40K used to be a skirmish game, but that all disapeared 10 years ago with 3rd ed, where most points dropped, but guard remained pretty much unchanged.

  • melta bombs are not ap1

  • OK so I watched the entire video and I don't really understand what you are bitching about. It sounds to me what you're talking about is balance. If the IG tank squads were unstoppable everyone would play that (or not play this game), of course there are lots of ways to counter that tactic for all the races. It is still one of the strongest things IG can field.

  • Buying 9 guard tanks is more expensive than a horde army of 100-150

Example: 9 normal leman russ tanks, think there £25 each, thats £225 for all 9 tanks. For a horde army of 150 orks it costs £12 a box of 10 (11 if you include nob) thats only £180. It might be more expensive but not for all armies.

  • I must say I agree with pretty much every point. Cheers, sir.

  • i'm just happy not to have to deal with a bunch of guardsmen with Ld 10 anymore.

  • ok yes tony seems negative and trashes a lot of armys, but seriously who cares. if you disagree then don't listen. and don't get your panties all in a bunch.

also i have to agree with tony that tanks are not broken, yes you have more options, and you can have more of them, but they cost the same, and you are still limited by the number of targets each turn. oh and when in squads they die a bit easier

    and yeah thats my rant.

  • Swoopin Hawks! haha Pie plates, guns and anti-tank. :)

  • OK. I was in an extremely bad mood at the time of writing my comment, so my unrelated anger came off in my comment. I still stand by my point, although I could have been less of a douche bag.

Sry for stirring up shit. Cheers.

  • The new Imp Guard tanks have totally changed my perspective on 5th edition. I tried out my Mech Chaos list which consists of 3 Rhinos and 2 Land Raiders, LR's stayed up and running and did their job of delivering my bezerks to the enemy and stunning the Leman Russes, but the Rhinos got blown to shit. They are definitely not broken if you play them right.
