This is amazing.

oh shit. i'd know that count-off anywhere - bill harrison's 'play jazz now' play-alongs. 'rhythm changes'. i've got the bass ones. it's strange hearing bill's basslines.
anyway. nice job, if you're new.
critique: snare work seemed arbitrary. i like to hear drummers accent the punches. and those piano rhythms are no-brainers, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

what kinda ride, thinkin about gettin into jazz and u should get a ride with a jazzy feel right?

Hey nice Job !!!! I don't know what software you use. I usually click on the wave and make it really big so I can match the audio a little closer. I hope this helps.

Indeed, I haven't played or worked on jazz in a while. I'm sure I'll get there in due time. But yeah, my left hand is waaay to loud lol.

thanks for the advice! im recording my audio from my digital camera, then I try to match up the track with the audio from the camera in vegas, thats probably the problem. I'll have to find other means to record with tracks like this.

hey mate. nice vid btw. i had a similar timing problem when syncing my drums and songs a while back. i think my problem was a latency problem as my recording was done through a mixer connected by USB. ever since i switched to a presonus fp10 (firewire) it's been better. how are you recording the drums and where is the music source coming from? it's probably best to have it come from the same source. (i.e. if ur recording from ur computer, then have the track played through your computer) -duncan
how did you put the music with the drums? would appreciate the advice!

I just added some details in the description as to how I did it. its not hard to do, its just hard to get the track audio to stay in sync with the video/audio.
