@FoolishInTheEnd I think it's something you're supposed to interpret. I personally interpreted it as a dream (a good dream actually, where he was finding a way to get out of the criminal lifestyle and that was the only way he could think of). But someone else may interpret it to mean that he died.
I saw this movie a few weeks ago on Netfix's website (it's available to watch online), and I thought it was OK. It wasn't a bad movie, but I just enjoyed both A Dirty Carnival and A Bittersweet Life so much more. I liked the concept but probably more than I should. I didn't feel the movie lived up to the promises laid out by a promising concept. Though, I did enjoy the climax, especially the scene with the hanging. You'll have to see the movie to know what I'm talking about.
@Ethical08 merriam-webster dictionary- "spoiler 3 : information about the plot of a motion picture..." it had nothing to do with the plot, therefore it is not a spoiler. not even in the tiniest sense. and it's usually considered etiquette not to respond to such old comments. i guess that kind of concept is beyond your mental capabilities. but that was no huge surprise. it was clearly demonstrated by your inability to distinguish between what's considered a spoiler and what's not. =_=
