The text is from the Latin Vulgate, John 1,3:
Omnia per ipsum facta sunt
et sine ipso factum est nihil

Er... with 'anone', you mean unknown? Or is the choir's name really 'Anone'? I don't mean to be picking on your spelling, I really don't understand what you meant...

"Responsoris de Nadal" from Narcís Casanovas(1747-1799)
Catalan composer and choir director of Escolania de Montserrat.

Beautiful piece. Thank you for posting it. Thanks to Ryan Gold for the leed.

Yes,the name thing is fun...Both Casanovas lived in the same time...And I wasn't right, too...Laughne said the choir is from France...I think, I will buy a cd of the composer...I like the 3 pieces. I wonder why it isn't so popular like Bach or Mozart...

No, it is not the Casanova
The composers name is NARCIS CASANOVAS (1747 - 1799)
The famous Casanova you mean is: Giacomo Girolamo Casanova 1725-1798...I googled this myself...
Is this a russian choir? Their uniforms look like it...
If you go in to treblemusic. You can download 3 more I think from this pieces-

Ok, Thanks Jairdan..I didnt read so close. I thought it was so fun with the name so I didnt read all the text. Shame on me ;) But it could be because what I know THE casanova was a writer, and composer and violnist....the boy with the glasses I think sings very well.
