@jlarsena I agree, it does cheapen the prize. However, it isn't awarded for "peace" in the literal sense, for example: Obama won for his efforts to strengthen international diplomacy. He isn't the most controversial winner however, remember the 70's: Kissinger? Teresa? Although you don't have to accept the prize, I think if Obama had declined it, it would have sent out a worse message to the layman.

@VincentsBlog I just think it's a shame they give them (Nobel Peace Prize) to people like Obummer who then go to war for peace. It makes me sick.
-
@jlarsena There are only really three important Nobel prizes, namely the physics, chemistry and medicine prizes. Literature and Peace aren't considered as important. This is where your scepticism emanates from. Being a biologist I am only interested in the science prize winners, not the last two.

Do you realize that "climate gate" was just an error made on one paragraph in one page of an 800 page document??

Yeah, coral islands are growing. It was the same study Alex used when he said "Pacific islands are growing". Same study also says that the coral islands rise due the coral build up, despite of sea level rising. I checked the study as soon as Alex said Pacific Islands are growing. Alex "forgot" to say it wasonly about coral islands, and said that the sea was rising. Which was shameful from Alex!
Al Gore is an idiot.
Global Warming is a hoax.
