  • Get rid of the bio balls, maybe then your nitrates will drop and all that algae will clear up

  • @fishtanksandkoiponds How did you make the drain for your protien skimmer skimmate? Or does the Coralife 125 come like that?

  • Hi

I'm new to the salty world. I must agree not to keen on the black substrate. Also doesn't all the bio media. Hold in nitrates?

  • with the CPR hang on the back refugium how far is your tank from the wall???

  • so do those snails eat alge

  • im glad i didnt buy black sand

  • Does the moon light come with the tank because I kno some do

  • get a refugium

  • tanks alright man, I know you just started but we did too on a fish only you should check are vid out, our reef tank has been together for a while but the fish only tank is a month old and killing it! We dint have half the shit you have and it's bomb!

  • @cOdGd7 Hey I saw your question wasn't answered yet so i thought I'd help ya out. check out LAFISHGUYS youtube channel, he builds reef tanks professionally even for some of the stars. Check out episode 88 of his little cheesy shows, he has some good info on skimmers... From what I saw there, if your skimmer isn't producing foamate than its probably just "idle" meaning its doesn't have any garbage to remove from the water... hope i helped...
