Usain Bolt runs 10.10s 100m into a 0.7m/s headwind to qualify for the Semi-Finals in Daegu.

World record holder Usain Bolt cantered to a win in his 100m heat at the World Athletics Championships in Daegu.

The Jamaican eased up with 30m to go but still beat Dwain Chambers comfortably in a time of 10.10 seconds.

Chambers was second and will be joined in the next round by team-mates Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Marlon Devonish.

let me explained something to you, the main sport in Jamaica is track and field. so that means u have kids in all primary schools from the age of 5!! running track. thats all kids in Jamaica think about. becoming track stars... so all they do is train and train and TRAIN!!! cuz track to them is not only a sport but a hope for a better future, a way of living... sooo thats y the best sprinters in the world come from jamaica: because they LIVE track and field. btw Bolt started running track age 9

the people who feel bolt is on drugs...how do you explain what he did when he was 15 , 16 . 17? a simple kid from rural jamaica on steroids or whatever at 15 running 20.5 or 20.6? that's crazy. btw, carl lewis at 18 was running 10.67 and in 2 yrs. at age 20 he ran 10 flat. he began running the 200m even later and in a jiffy he was at 20 secs flat. he's the one who came out of the woodwork as a sprinter , not usain bolt, for those who know track and field.
