I just posted on how I was going to try to make a rock tumbler from tires without a cover on the middle. Then I see you've already done it. My only concern is how long I can go between adding water
I have a bunch of quartz from a mine in Utah that my uncle owned part of. 200 pounds would take a very long time in a 5 pound tumbler :)

@M1sterHamilton lol trust me i tried that first didnt do anything at all. plus i had 3 5 gallon buckets halfway full, that would be way too much money on ketchup :P

How long did you have to run the tumbler for?
CalcityAirsoft 10 months ago
@CalcityAirsoft roughly 2-4 hours to get them clean enough to turn in.

well, the tumbler went to scrap. Decided to clean up my deck and since i have finished the coins, and scrap prices were way up, i got me some cash. Thinking about putting up some more redneck ingenuity vids soon. Subscribe and perhaps you'll see some new ones. Thanks for watching.

Hope you looked for that old 1943 copper penny worth 10k or so .

@AceThee it was very tedious work. but myself and my girlfriend sat and sorted through everything with a list of important coin dates next to us. some 1943 steel pennies, no copper ones though. i also have a good set of wheat pennies from the batch. funny thing is, all of the older coins had little to no corrosion so it was very easy to spot them. a lot of the newer ones from even the past 5 years were already pitted.
