Testing out my amp versus my roommates amp.
Gear:
Fender Stratocaster with Dimarzio Virtual Vintage pickups (mainly the neck and neck/middle positions were used in this vid)
Line 6 m9 "Hall" reverb and "Screamer" overdrive.
Jet City JCA20h with matching cab. JJ tubes and an Egnater Celestion speaker
Fender Hot Rod Deluxe (First edition I believe) with Groovetubes and an Eminence Red Coat speaker.

  • @bean69699 the chords are C and D. Thats it. Way too simple.

  • Jet city !

  • @bean69699 Thanks for the response! I'm still really on the fence about it. Can you explain your choice?

  • Hot Rod Deluxe all the way man.

  • liked the mids and highs on the jet city, but the fender sounded better on the lower note range. but i do most of my playing at higher gain settings, really like em both

  • @magnacarter12. The fender sounded muddy to me. The jet city sounded cleaner with less breakup on the harder strums and picks. They both sounded great though.

I think jet city is the cheaper of the two and that would sway me in that direction.
