Potatoes Tempered with Mustard Seeds. This is the way in the south prefer to cook potatoes -- piquant, tempered with mustard seeds and fragrant with curry leaves
Ingredients
4 tablespoons cooking oil
1-2 whole, red chilies
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
2 small onions, chopped or diced (optional)
1" piece of ginger, cubed finely
Greed chilies to taste, sliced or chopped
1 -- 1-1/2 teaspoons sambhar powder
5 large potatoes, peeled and cubed in small pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
5-6 curry leaves, torn up
Juice of 1 lime
Indian Ma Ma well done.
good cook, simple + super easy.
