His romanian name Iovan Paun (Iovan Peacock) was slavicized . Long time ago romanians from balkans were forced to change their second names ( ex. ..adding a specific sufix ...OVIC in Serbia or ..OV in Bulgaria),  and also on birth , they had a single option to choose from a list of slavian names. Romanian names were forbiden . This should not to happen next.

Romanians don't hate Serbians. We've always considered Serbians friends. But we don't understand why you don't treat Romanians from Voivodina and Timoc the same way we treat Serbians in Romania. Look what happened to Yugoslavia because of some crazy politicians and army people. Isn't enough your beautiful country has been split in six republics? Isn't enough you've almost lost Kosovo? Man, leave in peace, make friends and enjoy this life. God bless you and Serbian people!

And you know what's the irony? We have a saying in Romania: "Romania have only 2 friends: Serbia and Black Sea"

@Durepanya Not to mention that they even make part of the government! that's a great example for entire Europe. They even can speak in they're native language in parliament. And believe me, i`m not a simpatizant for the political class of actual Romania!

@mladen603 That's the problem, everybody consider romanians as "land-stealers". But we don't wan't to take parts of any neighbours, we just wan't to be treated as we treat national minorities here in Romania. that's why I`m a bit angry, because nobody returns us the respect. In Romania every nationalities has the right to construct they're own schools, they're own churches or whatever religion they have, they're own TV.

When i said "higher people" that means a larger nation, not a master race. I'm not nazy, I hate racism and discrimination and I have respect for everybody. I tried to be objective and that doesn't means I don't apreciate the cultural heritage of serbians!
