Sculpture, the physical modeling synth in Apple's Logic Pro, is one of the most powerful and unique synths available. It's also one of the most intimidating to use.

Thankfully, Brian has created a video in which he breaks down the mysteries of this complex and impressive tool, demonstrating how to use Sculpture's multiple parameters to create strong, unique lead sounds.

(For you Trifonic fan out there, Sculpture was a driving force behind the track "Parks On Fire").

  • I wish I could use that plugin (PC User) just to mess around with textures, like the ones you made for Parks On Fire. Speaking of which I remixed that track so feel free to check that remix on my channel, I'd appreciate it.

  • @Shemassault yeah it's too bad it is only for mac. You should check out Prism in Reaktor, it can make similar sounds. Also the physical modeling synth in Live can do very similar sounds as well. BTW you probably did one of the best remixes of Parks On Fire that i've heard. Nice job :)

  • Thank you so much for this tutorial!! You really helped me to get started with Sculpture, especially the morphing section - I was getting a major headache trying to figure it out on my own... :)
