Street Fighter IV - Anti-Scrubby Guile Tactics - Avoiding the Dreaded c.FK/RH !!!

Disclaimer: I am no pro; however, I can beat scrubs with ease. At least the one-move, projectile-spamming, it's-so-fun-to-push-the-same-command-over-and-over types of scrubs.

I used Chun-Li and Ryu in this video simply because their backward dashing is very different and proves the 'invincibility factor' quite well.

Also, both characters are played very differently, as Ryu is mainly an over-agressive, any-move-connects-to-SC/UC kind of guy, and Chun-Li is a poker.

I see your point, but here's the thing. Ryu can do the same thing, Ken can do the same thing, Sagat can do the same thing..the only characters you see doing it though are Ryu and Ken because they're scrub as hell. And besides fireball spamming flamers are so easy to kill when you just focus cancel out of all of their shit and build up your ultra. So predictable to, when you get close just duck and wait for them to spam their uppercunt. play ps3 version, their isn't a lot of little kids scrubbing

@Orlhajoetoe lmao i just fought a scrubby guile who did every single thing you wrote but lucky for me i use akuma air fireball pressure complety wrecked his scrub tactics the only thing diffrent is that the asshole mashed the holy hell out of flash kick

Guile flowchart: 1. throw occasional sonic booms 2. wait for opponent to make a move 3. do a random flash kick 4. crouching roundhouse..... crouching roundhouse again 5. jump for no reason while mashing throw 6. do a random flash kick from full screen 7. don't block crossups 8. never use any other normal besides c.jab, c.short and c.roundhouse 9. put on the shades

1. How do I defend against quick opponents like Ryu, Chun Li or Fei Long? Say what you want asbout Shotos but they are quick and they can smell blood.

2. Combos are tricky enough with non charge characters but how do excute them with characters?

3. There are some that requie me to zig zag my joysdtick, like charge then press the buttons oging northwest then punch? Any shorter way to execute this? As I can handle forwards, backwards, up and down but zig zagging is a tricky beast.

@FLCLimax7 Guiles that can combo make me cry. I love guile and I love inflicting pain everytime someone jumps at me, either with flash kick or crouch Fierce punch

i hate guile just as much as i hate blanka but there is nothing better than knocking a coward guile player down and then bleeding him dry with crossups and spiral arrow combos i just humiliated a 10 000 bp guile player earlier today

90% of guile players play lame. Spam cr. RH to SB, air throw, jump in kick once throw. cr. RH to flash kick. They also just like to walk backward spam sonic boom and once they get in the corner jump backwards fierce or RH. Most all of them just turtle and lame it out. I've seen probably 6-7 good guiles since ssf4 came out. Please learn some combos.

there is no "cheap" and there are no "scrubs". the point of the game is to win. if someone is spamming, it should be easy to predict and counter.
