damn such a sad waste, great voice, and at the end of this song when he breaks down it fuckin kills u doesnt it? such a great musician that wrote some magic music, like morrison and the likes, sadly missed, u know, just makes me wanna have a box of tissues close by each time i hear this song, ty for sharing!

the song nuttshell to. when hes singing "and yet i fight and yet i fight this battle all alone.. no one to cry to no place to call home. singing about his own addiction but he just couldnt kick it. sad so sad.

I don't know if he would have been so deep without his addiction. But his lyrics are obscure and can be interpreted in a way we can all have relation to.

I miss Layne. I really do, I first heard dirt on cassette, I listened to it all day. No,. I mean all day. Layne got stuck. That's what happened, I don't put him down for it. I just learn from it. I think we lost the best of all time. Who can sing like that?
