Nick's Pov:
It took her forever to answer. But then she looked up at me and she started to cry. I approached her slowly and sat down next to her. She collapsed into my arms and cried. Once she had simmered down a bit she started to talk.
Kelly: It's not what you think okay. Everyone thinks that we do it every day or something but you know me I'm not that girl. And this whole thing started when Matt and me went to a party and someone spiked the punch and you know what alcohol does to me and I had like one cup of it. Soon I was almost wasted and I was a bit lost. Matt took me to a back room and we started kissing. And things went a little bit farther but that's when I realized what was going on so I stopped and left. And well let's just say it's not something I'm proud of and the thought of everyone thinking that's what happened that night is horrible.
I didn't say anything I just let her rest in my arms for a while. Letting her get her emotions out since after the story she just started crying again. Soon I fell asleep.
The Next Morning
Zzzz....Zzzz......Zzzz I woke up with the sound of snoring in my ears. I looked over and realized that I had slept over at Kelly's. I left my eyelids fall back down. This was perfect....
???: GET OUT! NOW GET UP AND LEAVE!
I opened my eyes and saw Kelly standing in front of me screaming at me to leave. I got up quickly and was heading for the door behind her when she pushed me in the other direction.
Kelly: Break a leg!
She pushed me onto her balcony and I climbed down the tree and began my journey home. When I got there Joe pounced on me.
Joe: Where were you?
Me: Out!
I walked upstairs and slammed my door. Operation Win Kelly was failing terribly. I went to my bed and slept in for most of the day only getting up to pee. Then there was a knock at my door. I got up slowly and opened the door to be greeted by Joe he had a tray with my dinner on it.
Joe: You wanna talk about?
Me: Fine
I sat on my bed and started eating while Joe sat there and waited. I finished the food and started talking about what happened. I told the whole story and when I finished he patted me on my back and left. What am I going to do? Maybe I should just move on. I mean Kelly's not the jealous type but she is the hard-headed type who likes what she can't have. One time she shoplifted from Wal-Mark when her mom said she couldn't have some hideous top. she put it under her shirt and faked a teen pregnancy just to throw it away after. New plan. Play hard to get and hope that she'll come after me. It's like fetch I'm the bone and she's the dog.
